If I am ever fortunate enough to come to Juneau again, I would seriously consider saving my pennies, and booking you for a week, and doing a different adventure each day! Your enthusiasm and knowledge of Southeast Alaska, was refreshing especially after taking a very sterile (yet beautiful) helicopter ride with ERA. Not that you need it, but if you ever need a reference please feel free to give out my name, number and email. Also, special thanks to you and Sarah for your patience with my many phone calls and schedule changes. Good luck, and have a wonderful winter. Hope you enjoy the pictures and that they don't take too long to load. > > Karen Johannsen |

It certainly was a treat to see these magnificent creatures up so close. Also for the 'flyover' the Mendenhall - something I had thought about doing but didnt get round to it. I think my wife is going to be a bit envious - she did say "pat a bear for me" - we nearly did!! Hope the rest of the season goes well. All the best Nick (Davidson) |

Thank you very much for your nice tour to Pack Creek on July 23rd. I truely enjoyed bear-viewing experiences at that time, and was impressed by your knowledge and insight on bears and the environment. It was also my first experience to ride on a float plane, and surely it was very exciting! I enjoyed your skilled flying maneuver and good views of the landscape which I would never be able to enjoy on board a big jet-plane. Although there are several tour companies, I wish to revisit Pack Creek with you sometime in the future. You were so nice, and made us happy. Thanks again, and I hope to see you soon. Sincerely, Kenji Chono |

The places you took us and the way you presented them exceeded our expectations and dreams. You also did one great job of putting Mary at ease. We were still flying while back on the ship. Thanks! Subject: Thank You!
Sunday morning finds me at home in NM with luggage and laundry all over the place, a CD called Spirit of Alaska playing, my copy of 'Bears of Admiralty Island' on the coffee table, and tears streaming down my face. The experience was...and still is...mind and spirit dazzling. I don't know quite how to thank you both for doing the work you do. What a gift!
While at the airport, I met a couple who was booked to go to the Creek with another company. They were cancelled 2 days in a row due to weather. When I told them of my trip, they stopped me mid-sentence and asked if my pilot REALLY owned his company and didn't just work for the compnay. I told them about you and they were delighted to know about you for their next trip.
Oh, Butch, my telescope pictures did come out. Really well too, even though it wasn't a digital. I've got a great shot of Mocha. She really is a character!
Again, thank you for everything and be well and stay well.
Sincerely,
Darlene

Bel Air, Maryland, USAWe did the Pack Creek tour on 7/13/99 and it was the highlight of our 12 day Alaska vacation. We took 8 rolls of film in 4 hours. Were able to see 9 adults and 2 cubs, as well as bears fishing, fighting, eating, and many eagles also were there to view. Thank you very much for the entire adventure. Butch is a great guy and guide.Sincerly, Andy and Lisa Bredesen

Hi Butch and Sarah,
Just a note to tell you what a great time we had on our wildlife tour,
despite the wet weather! It's been fun telling everyone about our 'bear
watching' trip. The flight over the glaciers and ice cap was memorable too!
Most of our photos of the bears and the glaciers, etc. came out good.
Have great memories of our Alaskan holiday! We hope to return and
you can be sure we will contact you for another trip! We have recommended
you to everyone we've met.
Thanks for helping to make our vacation more memorable.
Our best,
Dawn & Glenn Kaler
